Joshua Falakassa represents a diverse range of clients in general civil, complex and business litigation, including intellectual property, real estate and insurance disputes. He also provides legal and business counseling to start-up companies through their growth-phases.
Mr. Falakassa earned his B.A. in History and Public Affairs at UCLA, and his J.D. from Boalt Hall, where he was awarded a Prosser Prize in Insurance Coverage and Litigation. While attending law school, Mr. Falakassa was a summer associate at Littler Mendelson, where he obtained significant experience in public and private sector labor relations, single-plaintiff and class action discrimination lawsuits, wage and hour litigation, and employment tax practices.
Prior to joining Kulik, Gottesman and Siegel, Mr. Falakassa was an attorney at Anderson Kill, where his practice concentrated in Corporate and Commercial Litigation and Insurance Recovery, exclusively on behalf of policyholders.
He also worked as a law clerk at the Federal Trade Commission, where he aided in prosecuting businesses for unfair/deceptive and fraudulent business practices and violations of federal anti-trust laws.
Mr. Falakassa is fluent in Spanish and Farsi.
